Terms of Service

Welcome to Deke. By downloading, installing, or using the Deke mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Account
You must create an account to use the App. Accounts are authenticated via your phone number.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages (e.g., additional daily drops, self-matching contests) is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's account settings.
3. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases
Creds are the App's virtual currency. Creds can be earned through gameplay (daily drops, contest winnings) or purchased through Apple In-App Purchase.
Creds have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed, refunded, transferred, or exchanged for real currency, gift cards, or any other tangible or intangible item of value outside the App.
All purchases of Creds are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.
We reserve the right to modify the pricing, availability, and earning rates of Creds at any time.
4. Virtual Items
The App contains virtual items including player cards, boosts, and bans ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items are licensed to you, not sold. You do not own Virtual Items - you hold a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use them within the App.
Virtual Items have no real-world value and cannot be traded, sold, or transferred outside the App.
We may modify, rebalance, or remove Virtual Items at any time to maintain fair gameplay.
5. Card Pack Odds Disclosure
Card packs contain randomized player cards. The rarity of each card is determined independently by a random number generator. The odds of receiving each rarity tier per card are as follows:

Daily Drop
The daily drop contains one randomized reward:

When the daily drop yields a player card, card rarity odds are: Common 60%, Uncommon 25%, Rare 10%, Autograph 4%, Deked 1%.

Odds are applied independently to each card in a pack. Duplicate players result in XP bonuses to your existing card rather than a second copy. Odds may be adjusted over time; this page will be updated to reflect any changes.
6. Contests
Contests are head-to-head fantasy sports competitions using Virtual Items and virtual currency (Creds) only.
No real money is wagered, won, or lost. Deke is not a gambling or real-money fantasy sports application.
Contest results are determined by real-world player statistical performance combined with the App's scoring and point-adjustment systems.
Once a contest's first game begins, lineups are locked and cannot be modified.
We reserve the right to void or settle contests in the event of data errors, server issues, or game cancellations.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities in the App. If you discover a bug, please report it to us.
Use automated scripts, bots, or third-party tools to interact with the App.
Attempt to access, modify, or interfere with the App's servers, databases, or APIs.
Create multiple accounts or transfer accounts to other users.
Engage in collusion, match-fixing, or any form of contest manipulation.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use offensive, vulgar, or impersonating usernames.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and game mechanics, is owned by Deke and protected by intellectual property laws.
Player names, team names, and league data are used for informational and entertainment purposes. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
Your license to use the App and all Virtual Items is immediately revoked.
No refunds will be issued for purchased Creds or Virtual Items.
We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Fantasy projections and statistics are provided for entertainment purposes and may contain errors or delays.
We are not responsible for real-world sports outcomes, schedule changes, or player availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of Virtual Items, Creds, or account data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for In-App Purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deke from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
15. Apple-Specific Terms
If you access the App through Apple's App Store:
These Terms are between you and Deke, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
