Deke Interactive, Inc ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Deke mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Phone Number — Used solely for account authentication via SMS verification. We do not use your phone number for marketing or share it with third parties.
Username — A display name you choose, visible to other users in contests.
Avatar — An optional profile image you may upload.
Information Collected Automatically
Device Information — Device model, operating system version, and app version, collected for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
Usage Data — Interactions within the App (e.g., packs opened, contests played) stored on our servers to provide core gameplay features. This data is associated with your account and is not shared with third parties.
Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your real name, email address, physical address, or precise location.
We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or third-party ad tracking.
We do not use analytics SDKs that track you across other apps or websites.
We do not collect payment card information. All purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase, and we never receive or store your payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
Authentication — Your phone number is used to verify your identity and secure your account.
Gameplay — Your username, card collection, contest history, and in-game currency balance are stored to provide the core App experience.
Improvement — Aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns may be used to improve game balance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
Supabase (database and authentication) — Your account data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Apple In-App Purchase — Payment processing for in-app purchases is handled entirely by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Expo / React Native (app framework) — Used to build and deliver the App. See Expo's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information (phone number, username, avatar) and gameplay data (cards, contest history, currency balance) from our servers within 30 days. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently removed.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS)
Row-level security policies that restrict database access to your own data
Server-side validation for all transactions (pack purchases, contest settlements, currency changes)
Authentication tokens with automatic expiration and refresh
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access your personal data (available in-app through your profile)
Delete your account and all associated data (available in-app through account settings)
Correct your username or avatar at any time through your profile
For California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You may request disclosure of the categories of information we collect by contacting us at the address below.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
